Servicing, repairing and tuning is what we do. We offer full suspension servicing and custom tuning, completed in house in our purpose built suspension workshop.

We service most major brands including Fox, Rockshox, Marzocchi, Intend, DVO, Cane Creek, SR Suntour, Formula and Giant. If you do not see your fork or shock listed below, pop us a message.

Book your service date (allow time your postage, we recommend one week in advance).
Once booked, box your suspension (see packing instructions at base of Suspension Servicing page) and post them to us at Racecraft Bikes, 32c Millburn Road, Inverness, IV2 3TR.
We will contact you to take payment when your service is completed.
We cover the return postage, free of charge!

When does my suspension need servicing?
For most riders, a service is due once a year, or after 800 miles (roughly 100 hours of use). At this point the lubricants in your forks and rear shock will be depleted and you'll see a significant drop in performance. If left beyond this point the external seals wear out and dirt and water makes its way in, causing inevitable wear to the inner workings of your suspension.
By 1600 miles the damper seals can start to leak, causing lockout / compression issues and can be diagnosed in rear shocks by a noisy, squelching, aerated damper.

The easy way to keep track of this is through chain wear, a chain lasts around 800 miles, so if you've had a new chain, your suspension service is due.

Postage and Packaging Instructions
Please follow our packing instruction carefully to avoid any additional costs, to avoid delays and additional charges please clean your suspension before sending it to us.

You are responsible for ensuring that your fork, shock, or seatpost are adequately packed to prevent damage. Please read the instructions below carefully!
​
Racecraft Bikes and our couriers accept no responsibility or liability whatsoever for suspension that is damaged or lost in transit due to poor, inappropriate or inadequate packing.
​
Please send your suspension in a sturdy carboard box, taking care to wrap the contents with bubble wrap or similar. If sending multiple items please wrap them separately to prevent them damaging each other in transit.​
​
Do not affix tape directly to your suspension, it's a nightmare to remove and risks damaging your suspension.
​
Please follow our packing instruction carefully to avoid any additional costs!

Please ensure you write your name and contact details on a slip of paper inside the box, we receive many boxes every day with suspension just like yours, we need to identify it!
